How do I know how much each donor has given for my Need?

It is so helpful to keep track of how much your donors have given to a specific Need or whether they are recurring donors or not. There are two easy ways to see how much donors have given to your Need.

Needs List option (This option is helpful to get an overview of donors and see who is a recurring donor):

  1. Once you log into the platform click the drop-down arrow next to Needs in the left side menu.
  2. Select “Needs List”.
  3. Under the Completed Recurring tab, find the appropriate Need you want to check on.
  4. Under the Action column, select the clasped hands icon (clasped-hands; if you hover over the icon, the label says Request Funds).
  5. This will list all donors that have given to the selected Need. If the donor is recurring, clicking the number under the Need Payment ID next to the donor’s name will show how much the specific donor has given to date through recurring payments.

Donations option (This option is helpful if you want to print a receipt for a specific donor, if necessary):

  1. Once you log into the platform click the drop-down arrow next to Needs in the left side menu.
  2. Select “Donations”.
  3. The Needs tabs are split between Standard Need Donations, Featured Need Donations, Featured Need w/Units Donations, and Honorarium Donations.
  4. Select the appropriate tab for the type of Need you created. The entries are listed in chronological order and show the input information and donation amount for each donor. If you created multiple Needs, you would have to sort the list based on the “Need Name”.

Note: Only donations for Needs you have created will be displayed.
